The terms of this Agreement solely apply to beta versions of GoHype, released by GoHype Limited (“Company”/ “we”/ “us”).
Thank you for participating in the GoHype Beta! We care a great deal about keeping your information safe. Your data is securely stored on Google’s Firebase, which is utilised by companies such as Twitch, and the service was built with security in mind. We don’t track your precise location, we only automatically collect anonymised data, and we only retain the data you provided us, whilst you are registered on GoHype. We also won’t reveal sensitive personal info, sell your email address or otherwise use your information for any purposes unrelated to the Application.

What information does GoHype obtain and how is it used?
User Provided Information
When you register as a user on GoHype, GoHype obtains the information you have provided and securely stores it. Registration with GoHype is mandatory in order to be able to use the basic features of the Application.
Your name, country, username and profile picture will be visible to other users of GoHype. If you wish to browse the Application anonymously please select “Private profile mode” from your profile within the Application.
You may additionally provide us with information when you contact us for help or to give feedback on the Application.
While the Application is in beta we may contact you using the information you have provided, to ask for feedback on the Application, or regarding important announcements, information, or required notices.
Automatically Collected Information
The Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, information regarding the way you use the Application, and the type of mobile device you use.
The Application does not collect the precise geolocation of your mobile device.

In compliance with GDPR, GoHype has appointed a Data Protection Officer for any questions you may have regarding our use of your user data, and how we ensure your data is secure.

How we protect your information
We want you to feel confident about using GoHype, and as mentioned in the ‘Summary’ section, we are committed to protecting the information you provide to us. While it is impossible for any service to guarantee absolute security, our security procedures help to protect your personal data as would reasonably be expected. For example, only authorised employees may have access to sensitive information, and only in cases where they need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application, and they only may do so for permitted business functions.
Does a third party have access to the data I provide to the Application?
Only anonymised, aggregated data will be transmitted to external services for metric analysis and to improve the Application.
How do I opt-out if I change my mind?
For as long as you are a registered user on the Application, we will retain your User Provided Data. Anonymised, Automatically Collected Data will be retained or destroyed at our sole discresion. If you’d like us to delete all User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please navigate to the Application’s “Profile” tab and select “Account Management” then “Delete your account”. If you have any issues please contact us at email@example.com. Please note that all of the User Provided Data is required in order for you to have access to the Application’s basic features, and for the Application to function properly.
In order to use the Application you agree that you are at least 16 years old. We will never knowingly collect data from those under this age. If a parent or guardian suspects that his or her child is using the Application, he or she should contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Such information will be deleted from our records within a reasonable time.
Notification of Changes
GoHype Limited reserves the right to unilaterally modify or update these terms and conditions at any time, and at the Company’s sole discretion. You agree that the most up-to-date terms can be found within the Application at any time. You are advised to refer to this Agreement regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed agreement to all changes.
