This privacy policy details the information we collect and use on GoHype, and applies to all those who register as users of GoHype.

Thank you for being a part of GoHype! We care a great deal about keeping your information safe. Your data is stored securely, we don’t track your precise location, we only automatically collect anonymised data, and we only retain the data you provided us, whilst you are registered on GoHype. We also won’t reveal sensitive personal info, sell your email address or otherwise use your personal information for any purposes unrelated to the Application.

What information does GoHype collect and how is it used?

User Provided Information
When you register as a user on GoHype, we obtain the information you have provided and securely store it. Registration with GoHype is mandatory in order to be able to use the basic features of the Application.

Your name, country, username and profile picture will be visible to other users of GoHype. You may additionally provide us with information when you contact us for help or to give feedback on the Application.

We may contact you from time to time using the information you have provided, to ask for feedback on the Application, or regarding important announcements, information, or required notices.

Automatically Collected Information 
GoHype may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, information regarding the way you use the Application, the type of mobile device you use and the country you are using GoHype in.

The Application does not collect the precise geolocation of your mobile device.

In compliance with GDPR, GoHype has appointed a Data Protection Officer for any questions you may have regarding our use of your user data, and how we ensure your data is secure.

How we protect your information
We want you to feel confident about using GoHype, and as mentioned in the ‘Summary’ section, we are committed to protecting the information you provide to us. While it is impossible for any service to guarantee absolute security, our security procedures help to protect your personal data as would reasonably be expected. For example, only authorised employees may have access to sensitive information, and only in cases where they need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve GoHype, and they only may do so for permitted business functions.

Does a third party have access to the data I provide to the Application?
Only anonymised, aggregated data may be transmitted to external services for metric analysis and to improve GoHype.

We may disclose either User Provided and Automatically Collected Information (a) as we are required by law. For example, in the event of a subpoena or comparable legal procedure; (b) if we believe that disclosure is necessary in order to protect your safety or the safety of others, under instruction of the government, to investigate fraud or to protect our rights; and (c) if GoHype Limited is to have any change of ownership, by means of a merger, acquisition or sale. We will notify you when we change these Terms, and you will have the opportunity to review and accept these changes for a period of 30 days. After which, you will be deemed as accepting the updated Terms and you will be bound by them as such. 

How do I opt-out if I change my mind?
As soon as you uninstall the Application from your devices we will cease to collect any further information. However, if you wish for us to delete all of your personal data from our servers, please contact us on and we will do so in a reasonable time.

Data Retention
For as long as you are a registered user on the Application, we will retain your User Provided Data. Anonymised, Automatically Collected Data will be retained or destroyed at our sole discretion. If you have any issues please contact us at Please note that all of the User Provided Data is required in order for you to have access to the Application’s basic features, and for the Application to function properly.

In order to use GoHype you agree that you are at least 16 years old. We will never knowingly collect data from those under this age. If a parent or guardian suspects that his or her child is using the Application, he or she should contact us at Such information will be deleted from our records within a reasonable time.

Updating these Terms
We are always improving GoHype to give you the best experience possible. As such, we may need to update the Terms in this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes we make. When we do, we will notify you (for example, via email or in-app) about the update to our Terms. From the time we contact you, we will give you opportunity to review and accept the updated Terms over a period of 30 days. Unless you contact us to decline the changes within this period, this will constitute as you accepting and being bound by the updated Terms. If for any reason you decide that you do not agree to the updated terms, please contact us on and we will delete your GoHype account for you.

This privacy policy shall be governed, construed and enforced in accordance with English Law.

If you took part in the GoHype beta, these Terms will supersede any previous terms you agreed to, including but not limited to 'Beta Terms'. We will give you 30 days notice to review and accept these Terms, after which you will be bound by them.

If any court of Law, having the jurisdiction to decide on the matter in question, rules that a segment of this Privacy Policy is void, it will be removed from the Privacy Policy without affecting the remaining segments of the Privacy Policy. The remaining segments are non-void, and continue to be enforceable.
